HERE COMES A NEW CHALLEN- uh PODCAST! The film has a tremendous cast, which serves as a who's who of comic book media actors, while the stunning visual effects make sure you are never bored. It is also extremely accurate to its source material, the Scott Pilgrim series written by Bryan Lee O'Malley.
Once we get over the special effects, sick fight sequences, and hilarious "ripped from the pages" dialogue, we talk about the themes this movie presents, and whether or not we are supposed to like its quirky protagonist, Scott Pilgrim himself! We discuss why this movie was a financial failure, why it has such a cult following, chat about or favorite fight scenes, and do apt comparisons to the comic.
