Marvel Star Jonathan Majors Sentenced to Probation for Assault

Marvel actor Jonathan Majors has been sentenced to probation after being found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. The "Creed III" actor was spared jail time but ordered to complete a 52-week batterer’s intervention program and continue mental health therapy.

The verdict, delivered in a New York court, saw Majors convicted of assault and harassment, while he was acquitted of a separate assault charge and aggravated harassment. Despite the sentencing, Jabbari expressed concerns about Majors' lack of remorse and the potential danger he poses to others.

During the trial, Jabbari testified about an altercation that occurred between her and Majors in a chauffeured car, which later escalated on the streets of Manhattan. She described Majors as excessively controlling and prone to explosive rage, leaving her in substantial pain and fear. Security footage presented in court depicted Majors allegedly manhandling Jabbari, reinforcing the severity of the incident.

Majors' sentencing highlights the importance of addressing issues of domestic violence and the need for accountability, even among high-profile individuals. The case serves as a reminder of the complexities surrounding such matters and the significance of supporting survivors throughout legal proceedings.
